What is Pilates and its benefits?

Pilates is a powerful, low-impact training method designed to build strength, enhance alignment, and increase mobility.  It develops deep core stability, sharpens balance, and strengthens body awareness, creating a foundation of control, confidence, and resilient movement suitable for every fitness level.

How often should I practice Pilates?

For optimal results, practicing Pilates 2-3 times a week is recommended. This frequency allows your body to adapt and strengthen while also providing enough recovery time between sessions.

Can beginners join your Pilates classes?

Absolutely! Our classes cater to all levels, including beginners. Our instructors provide personalized attention to ensure everyone feels comfortable and supported as they learn the fundamentals of Pilates.

What should I wear to a Pilates class?

We recommend wearing comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Avoid loose clothing that may get in the way during exercises. Grip socks are also required for better traction on the reformer.

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes, we offer private sessions tailored to individual needs and goals. These sessions provide personalized attention and allow for a customized approach to your Pilates practice, ensuring you get the most out of your workouts.

What equipment do you use in your classes?

In our classes, we utilize the Sculptformer system, specialized for the high-intensity, low-impact workouts used in the M-Body Pilates method.  Using a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, and resistance cables to keep muscles under constant tension during slow, controlled movements.  Additional equipment will include light hand weights, resistance bands, and balls.
